About me

My name is Kevin or Kev for short.

At a very early age I was brought up with dogs being a big part of my life, my parents had their first dog when I was two years old, he was a mixed breed of some description but had the look of a black Labrador and his name was Prince, I believe my father acquired him from a rescue centre somewhere in London, he was a loving dog but also a bit of a rascal and would often escape by crossing the river at the end of our garden and took off into the adjoining fields, even at one point following me to school, Prince lived to a good old age of seventeen.

It was a couple of years before my parents decided they needed another dog, but this time my father brought home not one but two dogs from Battersea dogs home in London, Bobby and Major, both dogs were found wondering the streets of London together and subsequently could only be rehomed as a pair, at the same time my sister acquired a Golden Labrador puppy named Charlie (Charlie Girl), because my sister was expecting her first child she decided to give Charlie to my dad to look after, so in the end the household became three dogs, the house was filled with dogs and those ten years brought use joyful and happy times but sadly one by one they all went to doggie heaven, leaving an immense hole in our life's without any dogs around.

Several years passed and my father ventured to the Dogs trust in Harefield and brought back a Corgi-Collie cross named Corbett, because of his short legs, Corbett remained with use for twelve years.
To bring my dog history up to date, I now have a lovely rescue dog from Chiltern Dog rescue named Pearl, she is a sweet darling and is a mixture of Yorkshire terrier, Jack Russell and Chihuahua, and I acquired her in 2019.
