The maximum number of dogs I can walk at one time is 4 (small to medium size) or 2 x larger size dogs.

All dogs must be microchipped, and preferably have up to date flea/worming treatment and any other vaccinations.

My hours are 8.00am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am until 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday, all walks can last between 45 minutes to 1 hour long which also includes transportation to and from the nearest park if necessary. (These hours maybe be changed for customers needs)

48 hour notice is required for any cancellations for dog walking and dog sitting and other services I provide, there is a cancellation fee of £10.00 within the 48 hours stated.

I take every possible care of the dogs that I walk and look after, but in situations such as cuts and grazes due to unforeseen circumstances, I cannot be held responsible for any vet bills that may occur during dog walking or dog sitting.

If I feel that the dog is aggressive before or during a walk in any way towards me or other dogs I will terminate the walk and no fees will apply.

I accept cash (preferable) Bank transfer (BACS payment) or PayPal plus their fees for my services, payment can be made before or after I have taken the dog/s for their walk on a single day, for longer bookings I prefer payment beforehand.

All dogs that I walk will initially be on a harness/lead until I am confident that the dogs can run freely on their own, and ask the owners to provide an adequate lead and harness and depending on weather conditions, I also ask for the dogs to have a suitable waterproof coat.

Dogs are required to wear a harness in the car and for walks, a dog tag must also be attached that has the owners name and home/mobile number, which is required by law.

In wet and muddy conditions when it is raining or has been raining, I will dry the dog/s as best as I can, but it will be the owners responsibility to make sure the dog is adequately dry and clean.

On extreme temperatures when the weather is too hot or too cold, I will not be able to walk any dogs for their own health and safety.
Times maybe changed for earlier in the morning or later in the evening when it is cooler, I will also provide water when needed.

A customer enquiry form will be required to be filled out prior to a walk or pet sitting.
Before any walk/sitting I will come to the owners’ house and briefly ask questions regarding the dog/pet.

On a walk I will observe any issues such as how the dog is walking and general health and also any change in stool or urine that the owner may need to be aware of.
I will also check for any ticks on the dogs body when the walk is finished, but would also ask the owner to also check themselves.

Please inform me if your dog requires any medication that needs to be administered or has any underlying health conditions that I should be aware of. 

I am fully insured and DBS checked (Disclosure and Barring Service) and have Canine first aid level 2 (VTQ) for dog walking and dog sitting, if owners require proof please ask, and I will be more than happy to show evidence for these.
